Often, the most highly sensitive child in a family system is assigned a role to carry or caretake the shadow, the darkness, the suffering in a way that moves them out of alignment with their soul. We do it well, and we do it for love. As adults, we may find we are making a career out of the skillset we developed, repeating the same patterns in our relationships, and draining our lifeforce. Cecilia Utne and Cross Cultural Journeys
Cecilia Utne and Cross Cultural Journeys (CCJ), Cilla is the Owner and President of CCJ, a small purpose-driven travel company focused on intercultural connections, global awareness, indigenous wisdom, and inner healing. CCJ – the travel entity helping with some of the logistics behind this retreat – was founded in California in the 1990’s and has taken thousands of travelers on deep and meaningful intercultural explorations worldwide.
Cilla is also a healing practitioner and facilitator of systemic and family constellations, and a former student of Emily and Dan at Seeing with Your Heart. Cilla’s new memoir When Roses Bloom explores the echoes of inherited and trans-generational trauma. A lot of the content of the text has come out of her deep work through systemic constellations. Since 2023, she lives between Roslagen, Sweden, and Bainbridge Island, Washington State, finding balance near the sea and forest. A native of Sweden and lifelong traveler, she has lived in Spain, the UK, Chile, and Guatemala.
Stephanie Gailing
Stephanie Gailing is an astrological advisor, self-care consultant, and family constellations facilitator with over 20 years of experience. She is the author of seven books including Planetary Apothecary, The Complete Book of Dreams, and Stellar Visions Oracle Deck. Co-host of the So Divine! podcast, Stephanie’s work has been featured in Vogue, Well + Good, MindBodyGreen, and numerous other media outlets.
In addition to her counseling and education work, Stephanie also offers editing and writing services to wellness practitioners.
