Our Why... YOU!

We recently heard from Seeing with Your Heart ACT graduate, Amelia Trotter, in New Zealand / Aotearoa that Te Kāhu Tiu, her long-envisioned land-based education and healing center for at-risk young people and their families, is set for its ribbon-cutting ceremony this April.
Amelia first came to us after meeting us at the North American Systemic Constellations Conference. She had foundations in having established an alternative school, youth center, and drug and alcohol program in Wellington that supported a generation of local young people in finding positive life paths. Through this work, she recognized the central role of unresolved and inherited trauma in the lives of those at risk of incarceration.
The Vision Returns
In 2015, she was revisited by a vision that she had had 20 years earlier – a rural healing centre for Young Offenders. It dawned on her that it was now time to fully actualize the original dream.
Amelia traveled to the U.S. to train with Seeing with Your Heart in both our Immersion and Advanced programs. We later made two visits to New Zealand to support the unfolding of her vision. From the start, her intention with us was to bring her program for at-risk New Zealand youth into operation.
Signs Along the Way
On her first visit to see the property where her center is now based, hawks appeared again and again, circling above, gliding beside the car, holding her attention. She had been captivated by these majestic creatures since childhood, and on this particular day it felt like they were attempting to communicate with her.
When she arrived she recognized with every bone in her body that it was the same place as she had seen in her vision years earlier. She was almost brought to her knees by the palpable power of this healing whenua. She mustered the strength to climb the ridge which looked over both the front, flattish, uniformly grazed paddocks and the more rugged back gullies of the property, where native plants were regenerating. There she stood and silently asked for a tohu. “If this is the right property, the one I first saw in my vision all those years ago, I need a sign”. Mere moments later a hawk appeared soaring and circling above her, spiralling outwards, within the perimeter of the 2 lots that her husband and her were exploring. She immediately knew that this was her sign.
The Birth of Te Kāhu Tiu
On a later visit, as a hawk swept low across the clearing, her daughter recalled how the founding of Rome was foretold through the flight of birds. From this synchronicity came the name Te Kāhu Tiu — The Soaring Hawk — a place where young people remember who they are and receive the support and uplift they need to rise, with wings that carry not only themselves, but generations of community forward. Te Kāhu Tiu was born. Amelia tells a story about the unfolding of how Te Kāhu Tiu was built.
Amelia’s Experience with ACT

A Global Healing Movement
We could write many pages about our wild and meaningful times together with Amelia, Bill, and their community. Every Seeing with Your Heart Constellation is a profound teaching and healing experience. In New Zealand especially—where indigenous and European traditions are merging—this work is well suited to supporting Māori youth who have been drawn into the justice system.

The Path of Alchemical Constellations Training
This is one of many transformational stories that come from graduates of our Alchemical Constellations Training and Facilitator Certification. Program Components and Structure
This training is structured to honor both depth and real-life logistics. You may attend either in person or virtually. While live attendance is recommended, virtual participation is intentionally supported through professional, multi-camera filming and high-quality audio.
