After three years of working in a Zoom world, Emily and Dan have returned to facilitating Seeing with Your Heart Constellations in live groups. Our trainings this year in Brazil, Bali, and the Catskills mountains of New York reaffirmed how our body’s capacity for flowing with nature, ancestral, and spirit consciousness is vastly amplified when beating hearts connect with each other in circle.
We are Inspired to create live Constellation intensives where the gates of the heart open anew and love becomes the new currency. We envision a series of hybrid offerings combining live intensive gatherings with global Zoom classes. Anchored by Emily’s Empowered Empath & Sage Soul program and Dan’s Science, Myth & Magic class, we are planning in-person events in New York, Brazil, Germany, South Africa, Malaysia, and Ireland between now and spring 2025.
We want to share a story from one of these recent circles. A student told us that she is struggling terribly with a deep, almost bottomless loneliness that overtakes her in the brief silent moments nested within her increasingly busy days. She is finding new successes in her work and getting out more with friends and family. But multiple times during a typical day, she suddenly loses herself in reverie, remembering sights, episodes, sensations, or fragments of songs and books that sweep her to another place, another time. Without warning, loneliness guts her. More than once she has burst into tears in front of others, for no obvious reason.
In her Alchemical Constellation, she named her intention to feel wholeness in loneliness and use it as fuel for expanding her compassion in relationship. We imagined her loneliness as a resonating guitar string and followed the music to its source in the ancestral lineage.
As they opened their hearts as organs of perception, each person in the circle, whether serving as a representative or an observer, attuned to the vibration. In just a few minutes, the entire circle harmonized this woman’s unique frequency into a universal melody. Like a song reaching to the angels, nodes of nature, ancestors, and spirit consciousness arrived and revealed themselves through the representatives.
We reached back five generations to the death of a 28-year-old great grandmother in early 20th century Ireland. She died impoverished leaving five orphaned children under age 8. The older boys were exiled by ship to America, then by orphan train to distant midwestern farms never to be heard from again. The girls were given to the convent nuns where they languish and labored until they could escape back home. The infant was raised to adulthood on a neighboring cousin’s farm. When these children and their parents were represented in the Constellation, loneliness intensified to unbearable levels.
As all this unfolded, Emily and Dan masterfully held the container, guiding the process. Keeping the client and her intention as the focus, multidimensional consciousness came alive. These sorrowful ancestors embodied in the representatives and the circle of living hearts formed a cauldron of alchemy. The healing movement integrated all emotions, freed the stuck ancestors, sent past traumas to the earth, and released the pull of disassociation from the student’s body.
When a closed or wounded heart opens, its vulnerability protected and the fires of its passion reignited, the darkness of loneliness can lift. The ancestors who live on in our cellular memory, even those who endured the worst, can take their place to contribute to a deeper assertion of life. Alchemy transforms them from nodes of unredeemable sorrow to sources of love and blessing who take heart to be seen and set free.
Join us on September 23 at 12:00pm Eastern for an alchemical journey to connect and feel wholeness in your loneliness and use it as fuel for expanding your compassion in relationship to yourself and others (both living and dead). Together we will imagine our loneliness as resonating guitar strings, a symphonic quest to harmonize with life’s music at our source in the ancestral lineage of our being.
The Seeing with Your Heart retreat is a deep dive into the primal mysteries of human consciousness. Alchemical Constellations give a newfound strength to the inner center. Not one that comes from self-improvement, but from reawakening to evolution’s eternal truths which have been nearly exterminated by cultural, societal, and family traumas. First, by engaging with ancestral presences to release the oppressive structures of guilt, shame, and fear that squeeze the juice out of life. Second, through the alchemy of the heart which transforms the decay of trauma into the food that nourishes the full flowering of your life. Seeing with Your Heart will open your body and mind to new pathways of creativity, purpose, passion, and community.
Together, we will dive into the deepest parts of human experience where you can feel, in an entirely new way, how the living and dead remain in relationship and can together contribute to a deeper assertion of life. When you learn to see with your heart, you see yourself and the world in new light.
