Since 2013, Emily Blefeld and Dan Cohen have facilitated global retreats in twelve nations from New Zealand to Sweden, Hungary to Bali. If you have attended any of them – whether inside the walls of a 17th century English castle or overlooking the vast wilderness of the Brazilian Pantanal, you have traveled both to unique places on the planet and, more importantly, journeyed to the liminal places between worlds, heartbeats, and dimensions.

When we create Seeing with Your Heart Constellations in historic sites, the land itself and the consciousness of the generations who have lived and died there comes alive within us. We feel layers of destruction and perpetration that have accumulated across centuries burning our hearts like hot coal. We feel the endurance, creativity, and courage of those who have contributed to the peaks of human achievement. Through the magic of alchemical consciousness, we can see into the eyes of ancestors, connect to their stories – those told and those buried in shame – and reveal the family tapestry that weaves us. When they look back at us, the chains of their suffering melt and dissolve into the earth, their souls fly free, and the grinding weight of our loyalty to their losses release from our cellular memory. 

If humankind is to be a family, the individual must come from a human family that has some sense of connectedness, some experience of human kindness and love.
